When you use the App, we collect information needed to provide the service. We do not store your customers' personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details. All personal customer data remains within your Shopify store and is managed by Shopify under their own data practices.

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the App. This includes tagging orders with gift wrapping details, determining whether a buyer is a first-time or repeat gift customer, and generating anonymized analytics and insights for merchants. We may use tools like Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand website traffic and reach potential customers. These tools may use cookies. You can opt out of Google's advertising features at adssettings.google.com. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Wrapped acts as a data processor on behalf of merchants. Merchants decide what gift options and messages to offer their customers, and we process that data to deliver the service. Gift options and gift messages your customers select or write are stored on the Order record in your Shopify account and belong to you. In our own systems, gifting attributes are stored anonymously and used only to produce the analytics and reporting features you see in the App. We do not store or process personal customer information such as names, email addresses, shipping or billing addresses, or payment details. All personal customer data remains within the merchant's Shopify store and is managed by Shopify. Our full processor commitments, including sub-processors and international transfers, are set out in our Data Processing Agreement.
We retain your data for as long as you have the App installed. Anonymous gifting attributes and order data are kept to support analytics and reporting features. If you uninstall and want your data deleted, email us and we will remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
